2014 Lexus GX 460 is a premium SUV that left the truck-based; it is also a niche product that can be used for family-hauling or rock-crawling. But in the U.S. market today, it is a niche product with a message-and a few shortcomings inherent chaotic that may be difficult to ignore. 

Placed just below the full-size Lexus LX 570, GX is built on the same platform as the overseas-market Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. It is also a cousin to the Toyota 4Runner, the GX getting stronger but the V-8 engine instead of a V-6 4Runner. GX also deliver on the promise to repair the Lexus luxury interiors, modern technology and elegant exterior styling-no one usually found on truck-based SUVs. 

The GX is entering its fifth year in the current generation, and have not seen a lot of changes since its debut in 2010. However, there are some exterior updates for this year-including Lexus new "spindle" grille, LED daytime lights and headlights, and wheels new run. As gently rounded take on classic SUV proportions - crossed with some obligatory engine cue brightwork here and there borrowed from the Toyota Tundra pickup truck as large as - GX 460 is not extroverted or flashy. But the carved-out fenders and the tall, imposing beltline that makes it look quite trucky, and separate from the rest of the Lexus lineup, except the LX. Inside, the look and layout of the upright and trucklike, certainly, but short on typical Lexus standards for materials and trim details. 

Although the roots of the truck GX 460, Lexus has equipped with all the comfort and luxury features general, while the premium class steps up to an additional feature-rich infotainment and technology. 2014 models also receive the latest version of the Lexus remote Touch infotainment. Intuitive Park Assist, 330-watt Mark Levinson surround-sound system, and a rear seat entertainment system is one extra. So two different security package technology that can bring together a pre-collision system, driver attention monitor, dynamic cruise control, intelligent high-beam assist, crawl control, lane departure warning, and a wide-view front and side monitor. Nav system is available in GX comes with Enform suite of services, including Destination Assist service that allows remote programming operator assistance purposes.
